K-HELP: How to balance kpop fangirling and studying???

How to balance kpop fangirling and studying???

You have tons of school requirements, exams, homeworks, papers, etc. In short, lots of stuffs to do for the rest of the day or week. So you try to do time management to lessen the loads you have. You wake up one morning feeling motivated to finish those requirements...

BUT ALWAYS ENDING UP IN FRONT OF YOUR LAPTOP OR PHONE WATCHING KOREAN SHOWS, SCROLLING FOR UPDATES, DYING WHEN THERE'S SLOW INTERNET CONNECTION, FANGIRLING IN SHORT.
And then you look at the clock, it's already late at night. AGAIN, another 'not so productive day' was made. Ending up cramming all the school stuffs in one night.

OH YES, THAT WAS ME. I KNOW YOU'VE BEEN HERE IN THIS SITUATION BEFORE AS A FANGIRL. (OTL)

So how can I manage/balance my fangirling and studying????

Answer: DISCIPLINE (yeah, as simple as that.)

It has always been 'discipline'. The hard part is, how to discipline ourselves???

D- Do your school stuffs before kpop stuffs

Would it be so relaxing if we fangirl without worrying about our unfinished school requirements?

I- Internet while studying IS A NO NO.

I'm 99% sure that once you open a tab in your browser, you can't resist to open your fan account/ youtube/ dailymotion/ twitter/ tumblr to check your bias so yeah stay away from temptation. I'm sure there are books around you that can help you in studying. Books are your best friend in studying, remember that :)

S- Start a study plan.

If it's weekend,  make a study plan the night before to organize your school loads.

C- Confidence is the key

Always be positive and trust yourself that you can finish all the work! Lol if you can spazz all day then you can study all day too, right?

I- Inspire yourself

Well maybe you can have your bias' photo in front of you to motivate you in studying just don't be distracted!

P- Prioritize studying over kpop

Yes, kpop is our daily life too but our life doesn't circle around kpop. We have to think about our future too. Study first before anything else.

L- Laugh it off

Don't feel so stressed about studying! Laugh it off! Kpop stars undergo hardships too before attaining success. Don't find studying as a burden, instead find it as a ladder to success.

I- Internet is A YES YES.

/okay that was so desperate/

If you're done with your school stuffs, welcome to paradise! You can spazz whenever you want just be sure not to forget what you studied or to clean up your study table.

N- Never give up

If you find yourself unmotivated in studying and want to spazz right now so badly, I'm sure you'll regret it if you spazz first. I know you'll drown in your feels while spazzing but that won't last long. Study first! WELCOME TO THE REALITY ;-;

E- Efforts will pay back

Lastly, all your efforts from studying will pay back. Getting high enough grades, better performances in school plus you get to spazz/fangirl without worries. You'll have happy parents that will like how kpop helps you in studying ^w^

So those are the the things to remember in order to balance our time as a fangirl and a student. So know how to prioritize, no internet, inspire yourself, etc.

I wish you all the best in your studies! Fighting!

K-HELP: Tips for saving money for kpop concerts

So you're fave kpop group is coming to your country but you don't have enough money to see them???

Tired of using livestream/audiostream everytime your fave kpop group has a concert on your place?

•Do u always promise to yourself that you'll see them next concert for sure but always ending up in front of your phone or laptop/pc for concert updates?

•Sick of crying and dying for your bias because u want to see them so bad?

I feel you... I think it's now time to join the #TeamConcert ♥

I know it's really hard to earn/save money especially if you're still a student. To balance fangirling and studying is our dilemma. (OTL)

There are two keys for me that I think will help you earn enough money for a kpop concert:

-Determination
-Resist Temptation

Yeah I know, it's pretty obvious but believe me, these two will help you see your bias ♥

The ff. advice are based on my personal experience (esp. for students) and it's helping me pretty good these days!

1.) MANAGE YOUR ALLOWANCE. This one's too general. If your parents give you allowance per week, make sure you don't spend ALL of it. In my case, I am receiving Php800.00 per week and ended up spending only Php100-150.00 per week! (Lol I didn't expect to spend so little though!). I tried it last week and believe me I still survived a week and it's still like a normal day for me :)

I suggest bring only half of your allowance per day. Example, my allowance for a day is Php150, I shall only bring Php75. (School's far from our house though OTL) I spend only Php30 for transportation and I try not to spend the rest.

(How to manage? Read the next advice.)

2.) DO NOT BUY UNNECESSARY STUFFS. As soon as you receive your allowance, do budgeting! It's a must in saving money! Be sure you only buy stuffs that are required in your school works. This is the time where you apply one of the keys I mentioned above- 'Resist temptation'. Avoid buying expensive stuffs you want. If you really want to go to a kpop concert, you will resist those temptations like buying clothes, shoes, going to a coffee shop to relax, etc.

3.) BRING FOODS, DON'T BUY FOODS! If you're used eating lunch/dinner outside (fastfood, resto bar, cafe), I think it's time to bring your own packed lunch/snacks. If you can't pack, try looking for the cheapest eatery you'll find; however, I suggest you pack your own rice and maybe you can just buy your 'ulam' (meal) outside. Tada! Your Php50 lunch turned out to be only Php20-30 lunch. And also it's like killing 2 birds in 1 stone- you saved money plus you lose weight too! (lol)

4.) ALWAYS BRING YOUR WATER. Though it's just water, it's still important! Always bring a drinking water with you instead buying of a bottled water. It's really helpful in saving money. And also, try not to buy flavored drinks. It's not healthy for you. For instance you forgot to bring water, still don't buy soda or flavored drinks. Remember, water is healthier! Lastly, if you already brought a water with you, AVOID buying drinks. I knooooow~ I want to drink milk shakes, buy an Americano or Frappe, BUT hey, why bother spending if you're just going to drink? You have water with you. (duh)

5.) CHOOSE THE CHEAPEST BUT WITH GOOD QUALITY. In buying stuffs/food, be sure pick the cheapest one, but BE CAREFUL in choosing because the quality is also important. For instance you're supposed to buy a notebook in a store. There's this Php12 notebook (which is cheap) but the pages aren't that many plus it's very easy to rip the pages while this Php15 notebook has more pages and the quality of pages is better than the Php12 one. There's only a Php3 difference but the quality of the Php15 notebook ius way more better than the 1st one so though it's more expensive, but the price is only a Php3 difference so go for the Php15 :)
Same goes for buying food ^^

(Lmao I hope you get what I meant XD)

6.) 2 WALLETS?? Yep. This is optional but will help you too! Sometimes, we'll be like 'How did I spend so much money today???' (I've been there before XD). Bring one coin purse for your transportation expenses (If school is not in walking distance). And the other wallet is for your IMPORTANT expenses :)) With this method, you'll be able to organize the money you will use for the day.

7.) PEER PRESSURE (><). Until now, I haven't overcome this rule! I always say 'yes' to my friends. Heol~ But I promise to try to say 'no' to them next time.

So for this one, yeah it's pretty hard but it will be better if you tell them the truth. If they invite you to hang outs, tell them you're not sure if you're going with them and tell them you're saving money these days. Maybe they'll support you (eating in cheap eateries, try not to spend too much during hang outs) or some will not (*judges you for prioritizing your interests more than them*). It's up to you at this point.

8.) TRUST GOD. Trust Him in every plans you make. Yeah not related in saving money but He will help you too :)) If ever you fail in saving money (I failed many times hehehehe), maybe He has better plans for you but always remember to think positive and stick to your words.

So that's it. If you have any opinions or more suggestions, comment it down ↓↓↓

It's up to you if you're going to follow my advice because for me, these are the ways how I am saving money these past few days. Thank you for reading and I wish you all the best in saving money for your bias! ♥
